We have a bold, vision, mission and purpose that is impossible to achieve alone. We believe in collaborating with hair educators, and salon practitioners everywhere that want to celebrate the beauty and diversity of natural hair. We want everyone to feel they can embrace a natural hair movement.

We see part of our mission as restoring care to the hair industry through inclusive and thorough curly hair education. That’s why we continue to inspire and educate everyone willing to participate.  In turn we help provide a much needed service to the diverse and underserved curly hair community.

We will continue to work on changing the narrative around all curly hair textures. “All-natural hair is beautiful and a breeze to manage with the correct techniques and products, which is the truth.”

Our education modules/events cater for everyone: From Salon team education to single hairdressers, Hair & makeup artists in the entertainment industry seeking short basic workshops on how to style Kinks and Coils/Textured hair.

If you are a single practicing hairdresser and or a hair braider who is looking to master the art of curly/kinks/coiled afro textured hair, EFEC provides a 6-week full course. We also provide a curly hair history module facilitated by EFEC’s founder Cynthia Simango.
